This presentation covers the basic history, biology and management of the human bed bug, Cimex lectularius. After watching this presentation, participants should have a basic knowledge of the origins of bed bugs, bed bug spread, bed bug biology and ecology, and understand how to manage bed bugs using an integrated pest management (IPM) approach, including bed bug inspections, monitoring, chemical and non-chemical options.
