The NNCP: Exploring Careers in Nutrition, Health Science, and Culinary Arts course provides students with in-depth knowledge and hands-on skills in nutrition, culinary arts, and health and wellness career exploration. Through comprehensive online modules, students complete interactive lessons, assignments, and knowledge checks that ensure a strong understanding of essential concepts. Participants must meet minimum competency requirements to earn a certificate of completion.
Ideal for secondary educators looking to inspire and engage their students, this course strengthens life skills, enhances culinary abilities, and introduces learners to diverse careers in health, nutrition, and wellness before graduation.
Administered by the Create Better Health initiative, this NCCP course is delivered through Utah State University Extension. Registered dietitians, public health professionals, and USU Extension faculty rigorously review and validate all content to ensure the highest quality learning experience.
