Understanding Dementia and Alzheimer’s Disease

This course is a three-module online certificate program that prepares community health workers (CHWs) to support individuals and families impacted by Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias (ADRD).

The course covers disease knowledge, evidence-based prevention, screening guidance, care planning, and caregiver support. It aligns with the C3 Council’s CHW competencies and is designed with adult learning strategies.

This course awards a PDF certificate of completion from USU Extension.
