Understanding Gender: An In-depth Exploration

Understanding Gender: An In-depth Exploration is a three-module online course developed and presented by Dr. Susan R. Madsen of the Utah Women & Leadership Project. Through this curriculum, influencers-like parents, siblings, relatives, neighbors, family friends, community members, and teachers–can create effective environments for learning and growth for children and young adults of all ages by better understanding gender. This course will take approximately three hours to complete and consists of three modules: 1) It’s in Our Genes!; 2) Understanding Differences; and 3) Building Girls and Boys into Healthy Adults. You’ll learn the material by watching a series of short videos, completing interactive quizzes, accessing additional resources, and reflecting on the content by applying what you’ve learned.
